Delivery Rate Guidelines

Will Do
Many factors affect the cost of the delivery of your vessel,
the type and speed of the
vessel, the weather, the mechanical condition of your
vessel, the location. Night operations may be required or
may be optional. Please contact
us for an estimate depending on your
particular circumstances.
In general, a crew of captain, chief mate and two deck hands is
required for deliveries with any leg greater than 14 hours.
The owner may supply crew provided each crew member is a fully
qualified.
Charges apply per calendar day not per 24 hour period. These
rates are for a relatively new vessel in good condition with
a good maintenance record.
Captain:
• $600 per calendar day
Chief Mate:
• $400 per calendar day
Deck Hands:
• $200 per calendar day per person
Ground Travel & Standby Rates:
• Ground travel and standby rates
(for example, mechanical problems, adverse
weather conditions, etc.) will apply at 70%
of normal rates for periods greater than four
hours after applying above rates for the non-standby
period of time.
Discounts:
•
BQ and AUXOP members of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary
receive a 10% discount off the above rates.
Ground Transportation:
• At cost using most
practical means - train, taxi, rental car or plane for
longer distances. Of course there is no charge if the client provides
ground transportation.
Provisioning and meals:
• We will provision the vessel for food and rest. If the
owner accompanies the delivery, the provisions will be reviewed and supplemented
if required.
Provisioning:
• $25 per person per day, domestic.
• $40 per person per day, foreign.
Consumables:
• Any fuel, oil or other consumables
used during the trip will be at the owner's cost
and the estimated cost will be prepaid. Current
charts for the delivery will be provided at cost.
